My name is Will Hoyle and I am an Asbury Alumni from the class of 1997. I have been in full time Federal Prison Chaplaincy for the last 10 years. I regret that during my seminary education I did not look at all the avenues for ministry and that is was kind of “assumed” most would go into local church ministry. I think seminaries as a whole with the changing American landscape are becoming more open to new forms of ministry outside the local church. I wanted to pass on the most recent recruitment materials from the Central Office in Washington D.C. of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
