I graduated with a M.Div. from Asbury in 1994 and subsequently earned the Ph.D. in historical theology at Nazarene Theological College/The University of Manchester. I am a missionary with the Church of the Nazarene on the Africa Region. I serve as a Senior Lecturer at Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi, Kenya. I am the Dean of the School of Religion and Christian Ministry. I am teaching, supervising and examining students at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. Additionally, I am in the process of working with the Africa Region to found a higher-educational institution for French-speakers in Africa and serve as a member of the French literature committee and am the production editor for an online journal that is both pan-African and pan-Wesleyan. I am also an author of a book and several journal articles.
