Dr. Long’s Romans Greek Reading Group continues this semester every Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Alumni are welcome to Zoom in as the group picks up in the middle of Romans 4.
This reading group works closely through the Greek text, translating, and discussing all aspects of the grammar/syntax while considering the context (literary, socio-cultural, etc.) as well as theology and formational implications.
To see the previous reading group, here is the meeting on Romans 4:6–12. Other videos are found at “Greek Matters” and/or “GlossaHouse TV” on YouTube.

I have an extensive Greek background. I was fortunate to work with Roger Scott and John Burke, Australian scholars who translated the 11th century Byzantine historian, George Kedrenos. A few Australian scholars advised them in the translation. Kedrenos was not translated in any modern language. I was the only American in the group.
