The Grace Filled Life with Dr. Timothy C. Tennent
Dear Professor,
I am writing to express my sincere interest in enrolling in “The Grace Filled Life” summer course with Dr. Timothy C. Tennent. Though I come from a non-Christian background in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, I have been increasingly drawn to understanding the foundational concepts of Christian theology, particularly the transformative concept of grace.
Dr. Tennent’s leadership at Asbury and his thoughtful approach to articulating core Christian principles is precisely why I’m eager to learn from him directly. As someone approaching Christianity from the outside, I believe this course will provide me with authentic insights into how grace functions as both a theological concept and lived experience within the Christian faith.
The concentrated format of a summer course appeals to me as it will allow for deep, focused engagement with these concepts without the competing demands of a full semester. I hope to use this experience as a foundation for further theological exploration at Asbury.
