We held our annual event Bananas, Bagels, and Blessings on September 3rd and 4th outside the Alumni Office by Royal Auditorium. We welcomed back returning students and greeted our new students with open arms. The cinnamon toast flavored bagel seemed to be the favorite selection this time around! Everyone was very appreciative of breakfast and most importantly, the prayers they received as they stopped by.
We had over 10 faculty, staff, and student workers from different departments who attended to bless and pray over students as they navigated through their first two days of classes. They also prayed with faculty as they began this new school year. It was a wonderful time of community and fellowship.
We also introduced the new t-shirts created for our community focus and Dr. Tennent’s sermon series this year: The Grace-Filled Life.
The Office of Alumni would like to thank all those who gave of their time to bless and meet with students, and to all those who came by to visit and receive blessings. We are looking forward to our next BBB event!
